Those are the opening bars to a track that should feature on my album. Yes. I am working on my album. Finally, you might say but I say it all boils down to timing. I'm never late in my opinion. You can refer to my interview a while back on Simply For Us and see how far (or not) I've come along.
Anyway, this blog really seems like a spot to drop an update every other month. So, here it is, in the swan song post (or not, after all, i am a rapper, retiring and unretiring is part of the game) on this blog. What has McRanter been up to?
Now work in advertising as a Copy Writer. If you don't know what that means, the cheeky answer would be that I write copy. Wotitis though is, I write scripts and text for adverts i.e. radio, TV, billboard, magazine, newspaper, poster, flier etc I also come up with creative suggestions for ad campaigns. Interesting, eh? It's with a company called ZK Advertising and our major client is Celtel Nigeria. I have so far had only two radio spots aired but more to come. Possibly TV soon. Watch this space (or the one I direct you to).
I made my theater debut as Timon in the Lion King @ the MUSON Center. It was serious fun and should be back on for 4 more shows in November, GOD willing! There's some (poor) footage on youtube (Type superdonchi in the search box, then click on the superdonchi link. Those are the only uploaded videos on there) for your viewing (dis)pleasure.
I've fallen in love thrice (twice with the same girl) and love sucks even more now. I'm in limbo right now, just hanging on and in there.
I've been in talks with quite a number of people for a few projects i am excited about, so will keep you posted.
Anyway, on to the real reason for this post.
Thinking about it, 10 blogs wasn't too much... twas frigging ridiculous! Even I couldn't keep up. So now, I am cutting down to just 2 (possibly 3 if I keep this one alive) to make life easier for everybody.
